The 5th EPC Summit will be held in Budapest, Hungary November 7th 2024
During its Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Hungary is set to host the5th EPC autumn summit of the European Political Community. Charles Michel announced the date of the summit on March 20, 2024. Additionally, an informal meeting of the European Council is planned for the next day.
The United Kingdom, which hosted the previous summit, had committed to fostering cohesion in upcoming EPC summits. To advance this goal, British Ambassador to Budapest, Paul Fox, met with Hungarian Europe Minister Bóka János on March 25, 2024. After the fourth summit, a hosting quartet comprising the United Kingdom, Hungary, Albania, and Denmark was formed to enhance coordination between summits.
